The Mono Polys You Think You Know It All

In the studio today with these guys recording their new EP - ‘LIFE’ carefully documenting the progression and problems faced, and how fear and someones ambiguity develop, as well as asking that question, why? what is the point of all this shit? The record has 4 tracks. All very diverse, from the hugely catchy and heartwarming lovesong ‘ I Want To Be With You ’ (but which also deals with the idea of being alone) to the incredibly cinematic catastrophe of someone spiraling into mental illness in ‘She’s Losing Her Mind ’. But still, rivalled by breathtakingly beautiful plead for reassurance ‘You Think You Know It All ’ lead by gentle guitar and synth that gradually builds in stature and soars into a monumental ending chorus, and the proclamation that focuses on the idea that ‘ Growing Old ’ is a part of life that would rather be avoided  All the recordings have their own unique sound but keep the fundamental guitar and synth driven style, packed with emotion from vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Tom Knights, as we are captured by powerful lyrics and voice, thats supported by strong simplistic drum beats. This is definitely a band to watch out for, this record partnered with their energetic live shows that dont just hint at a future - but make a point that they belong here, and they deserve it.
